Magic Tango Beginner Bootcamp - October 22-23, 2016     
  

MAGIC TANGO  Beginner Bootcamp - 2 days
(5-hours intensive workshop)

October 22-23rd, 2016 (Sat-Sun)

Get a taste of the beautiful Argentine Tango, be inspired and start learning the FUNDAMENTALS of tango leading or following. This bootcamp is good both for beginners and those who want to brush up basic Argentine Tango dancing skills and get lots of tips for improving your dance.. 

By the end of the bootcamp students will be able to connect to each other in tango dancing, learn a few essential and fun tango patterns and be able to join them into a simple and elegant dance and feel the pleasure of moving counterclockwise in a continuous motion, combining linear movements with circular.

If you already took part in a MagicTango bootcamp you are qualified for a 50% off (bootcamps slightly vary in content so you can take all the versions :). 

T​he bootcamp is concept based and includes tango drills and practical exercises to ensure an integrative experience of learning tango.

Bonuses: Magic Tango Bootcamp students get a link to the special playlists with selected tango music for their tango & tango demos by world-renowned instructors.

Program:

- Introduction to Argentine Tango stylistics
- Connection with the partner
- Connection with the floor
- Silky Elastic Embrace (specifics of dancing in close & open embrace)
- Catlike Walk
- Musicality 
- Introduction to other basic vocabulary:
  • Practicing the basic vocabulary and tango concepts (Part 1-2)
  • Introduction to the Cross System
  • Basic turns
  • Simple ways to embelish & spice up your dance :)
  • Combining various elements in a smooth connected dance, tips for musicality & rhythm
- Floor Craft (navigation skills)
- Tango Etiquette - practical social skills for dancers (inviting etc)

No Partner is required however we recommend bringing friends!
Partners will be rotated at the workshop (when coming as a couple, it is still recommended to try doing some exercises with at least 1-2 other partners).

Rates for the bootcamps:

NB: to ensure participation bootcamp has to be paid for in advance only.

2 days:
$75 per person / $135 per couple  (EARLY BIRD)
$95 per person / $175 per couple

1 day:
$45 per person / $80 per couple  (EARLY BIRD)
$55 per person / $95 per couple

For full-time STUDENTS with valid ID: 
$10 off per person for 1 day
$25 off per person for 2 days
(can't be combined with couple's rate)
