​Benefits of private classes with Tatiana / MagicTango:

- private classes are very effective for understanding partner connection, improving posture, balance, musicality, polishing tango technique and enjoying the dancing
- you get all the attention from the teacher and can practice and learn in your own tempo 
- you can bring your questions / request a particular topic to work on
- you can practice particular combinations whether the ones you learned in group classes or somewhere else or learn something new from scratch (there are hundreds of practical combinations)
- trying out new movement combinations, experimenting under guidance of the instructor
- privates help to polish your navigation skills and to learn how to build phrases with consideration for the floor craft as well as the beauty of connection and dancing
- finding your personal style

RATES for PRIVATE CLASSES:

All rates for classes are in CAD (Canadian Dollar is usually 25-40% less than USD, exchange rate calculator >>)

Sample 30-min private class (during some practica only and for first-time students):
$45 (1 student)
$55 (couple)

price of the practica is not included ($5-10 depending on the event).

Usually a private class can last from 1 to 3 hours at a time up to the choice of the student(s) and availability of the instructor and studio.

1 Class:
$75 /h - 1 student /  $125 /h - 2-4 students  (studio rentals are extra)
$75 /h - 1 students / $125 /h - 2-4 students (at student's home if space fits the requirements)
e.g. hardwood or laminated floor, usually a typical lounge room is enough for 4-6 people for tango.

Single class can be 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 3 hours.
Fees are paid accordingly.

Commuting fee might be applied if traveling is more than 30min ($25/h).

Private classes are usually held at studios Vancouver.
Address will be provided on your booking TBD.

NB: Studios require booking usually at least 3-14 days in advance, in some cases earlier.
Each dance studio has their own policy for exchange / return for rentals.
Rates vary from $25 - 65 + tax depending on the size of the room and other factors.

ENTHUSIAST Pass - 1 (4.5 hours: 3 classes 1.5h each):
$95 /1.5h class - 1 student - $285
$115 /1.5h class - for 2-4 students - $345

ENTHUSIAST Pass - 2 (6 hours: 4 classes x 1.5h each )
$85 /1.5h class - 1 student - $375
$110 /1.5h class - for 2-4 students - $435

INTENSIVE Pass * Best Value * (most popular)
(8 hours: 4 classes x 2h each):
$100 /2h class - 1 student - $395
$130 /2h class - for 2-4 students - $520

Gorgeous & Serious (advanced pass)
(12 hours: taken as 6 classes x 2h each):
$95 /2h - 1 student - $555
$120 /2h - for 2-4 students - $725
Valid for 3 months

* Studio rental fees are extra (paid separately)
Passes & studio rental fees have to be paid in advance, class is booked only on full advance payment.

Passes have to be paid in advance and in 1 payment, valid for 2 months (except for G&S pass which is valid for 3 months).

*** For students who are renewing their "Intensive" or "Gorgeous and Serious" pass within 1 week there is a bonus:
 a complimentary 30-minute session with Metaphorical Cards (coaching, counselling)

Classes are non refundable, exchange is possible only 5+ days in advance.
(When a teacher books a dance studio for rentals, most dance studios have strict cancelation/ exchange policy, any changes
tell on the reputation of the instructor).

Any force major circumstances are discussed on the case by case basis within 1 week from the booked class.

If the class is reschedule or cancelled because of the instructor,
The student can choose whether to take a similar class on another day (use the paid credit to another class) or get a refund.

SEMI-PRIVATES // SMALL GROUPS (up to 6 couples)

Duration can be from 1 hour to 3 hours.
If you are arranging a semi-private keep in mind that holding a class requires $100-150/ hour minimum revenue depending on location of the studio.

$15 - 35 per person /hour (3-12 students), depending on the amount of classes in the series and the amount of students
(contact to discuss the details, mention your preference for the day, time and location (area)).

A couple = Leader + Follower (no matter what gender, role swapping is welcome, mention when booking)

Rentals for semi-privates are determined depending on the group, might be built into the price of the class or paid separately.
