MAGIC TANGO Argentine Tango Fundamentals - 2 Semi-privates // Intensive workshops Instructor: Tatiana Balashova (Taking these classes requires some tango experience. If you are an experienced dancer in another style, you can take 1-3 privates to catch up on a special reduced rate and join the group). Wednesdays (July, August) July 20 & 27 (Wed) 8pm - 9.30pm @ Broadway Ballroom August 3 & 10 (Wed) time TBC @ Venue TBC (Mount Pleasant or Downtown centrally) These classes are concept - based and include many must-know tango elements and combinations, drills for technique, balance and musicality, as well as to ensure an integrative experience of learning tango. Attention to everyone is guaranteed! Students will be able to connect to each other in tango dancing, learn a few essential and fun tango patterns and be able to join them into a variety of simple and elegant sequences, and feel the pleasure of moving counterclockwise in a continuous motion, combining linear movements with circular to the traditional and alternative tango music. Partners will be rotated (recommended). Bonuses: Members of the Facebook Group "Magic Tango Explorers" get a link to the special playlists with selected tango music for their tango & tango demos by world-renowned instructors. Bring your bottle of water! NB: Registration is required. Registration requires payment. Partner is not required (the ratio of Leaders & Followers is balanced). Payment has to be made before no later than Sunday July 17th. Rates for small groups:
8-16 people 4-class Pass (1.5h each, 6 hours) 1 PERSON - $65 2 - COUPLE - $120 (Leader + Follower) STUDENTS - $50 per person, $90 per couple Student ID is required. (limited to 4 students per group) Payment has to be done before Tuesday 12pm. Includes the rent. Participation is limited to 8 couples (16 participants max) Notes: - Payments are non-refundable. - for Paypal payment add $3 to cover the fees - Change of name of the participant is possible with the confirmation from the organizers and minimum 3-day notice.
