WHEN: Every 1st Saturday of the month (please see our Calendar for yearly schedule) September 5th, 2013 (SAT) SPECIAL - Workshop with Gabriela Condrea (Buenos Aires / Seattle) Schedule: 8pm - 9.30pm - "Tango is About Connection" by Gabriela Condrea (Adv Beg - Adv level) 9.30pm - 12.30am (or longer) – ZEN Milonga NB: Milonga starts 30min later because of the workshop, just in October. DJs: Marina, Tatiana Music: mostly traditional with a bit of alternative/ neotango Gabriela Condrea, tango teacher specializing in developing connection and author of the book "When 1+1=1: That "Impossible" Connection" will be offering her first ever workshop in Vancouver, BC! She has taught tango and presented her book from Los Angeles to Orlando, Florida; Tempe, Arizona to Richmond, Virginia; Philadelphia to Portland, Maine; Prague; Seattle and Buenos Aires and many places in between. And most recently, she released her book in Spanish in Buenos Aires. In her teaching, Gabriela focuses on developing a deeper connection that enhances all parts of the dance - helping you make all those moves you know better and that much more delicious! This is a unique opportunity to reset, fine-tune, and re-connect with yourself and the people you share an embrace with.
